"Summer was short again," sings Budka Suflera. What will the band play for the "Farewell to Summer"? We'll find out on September 13th during a picnic at the parking of Miejskie Centrum Sportu in ZÄ…bki.

Saying goodbye to hot and sunny days, do not forget also about ecological "farewell" waste. The best way to parting with them will present STENA EkoStacja and STENA AutoZÅ‚om will present the best way to parting with recyclable materials.

"Farewell to Summer" in ZÄ…bki takes place this Saturday from 10:00. Separation with holidays and sunny weather sweeten attractions prepared by the organizers and invited companies. What is important,  Stena Recycling leading STENA EkoStacja will be among them. EkoStacja is the Point of Selective Rebounds Municipal Waste for residents. Specialists from Stena Recycling will advise how to sort troublesome waste as well as will talk about second life PET bottles. Children will be able to immediately check their knowledge during competitions with prizes: computer game “Recycle Drop” or in the quiz. What is more, for all car fans will wait a surprise - the car for breaking, and second, already pressed into cubes. It's an opportunity to get to know the fate of exploited vehicle which first goes to the Stena AutoZÅ‚om and then recovered materials are used for example on a football field, a garden chair or a new car.

Miasto Ząbki, Miejskie Centrum Sportu, Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji and Miejski Ośrodek Kultury in Ząbki planned the day so that every resident of the municipality could find something interesting. Presentation of the clown-magician, fun with scarf, show of blowing huge soap-bubbles, pony rides and face painting will be waiting for the youngest. Those who like tremble with excitement may cheer the soldiers of the elite GROM Memorial Grom Kombat unit during swimming competitions or jump on eurobungee. Synchronous dance show and live brass band and choir concerts are scheduled for art lovers. About 19:00 will begin the concert of the country-rock band Trace. Not every day we say goodbye to summer in Ząbkach, but every day we produce waste - among them these troublesome, which cannot be thrown into the bins outside the house. What to do with them? Residents of Ząbki, Warsaw and surroundings areas can give them back to Stena EkoStacja (Chełmżyńska 180). You can leave there more than 40 types of waste, such as: recyclable materials; electro wastes, including used electronics and appliances, telephones, lights and computers, as well as gauge waste or dangerous - toners, batteries and aerosols.
