“Sustainable start of the day with Stena Recycling” is a series of meetings for the Customers of Stena Recycling which refer to “fika”, a Swedish traditional break at work, presenting an opportunity to get together and to discuss different matters over coffee and snacks. The first such meetings dedicated to the subject of "How to avoid errors in a waste reporting”? were held on 20 November 2015 in SwarzÄ™dz and on 24 November 2015 in Warsaw.

Anna Wójcik, Manager for Environmental Reporting and ADR at Stena Recycling, acquainted the guests with the issue of waste reporting, indicating the most important aspects of the process. The entrepreneurs obligated to keep records on waste are required to submit an annual report on generating and managing waste. The report on their activity in this respect should be presented to the voivodeship marshal by 15 March 2016.

– The series of meetings “Sustainable start of the day with Stena Recycling” aims at familiarizing our Customers with the most important aspects and changes regarding waste management which have a direct impact on the Customers’ business activity. We hope that those meetings will become for our Customers a valuable source of information and an opportunity to share their experiences – says Aleksandra Surdykowska, Marketing and PR Manager in Stena Recycling.

During the meetings also the next year’s amendments to legal regulations on waste management were discussed, including, among others, the entering into force of a new act on the used electrical and electronic equipment and the amendments to the act on the recycling of vehicles.
