Ericsson: opens R&D Centers in Lodz and Krakow

Ericsson's Research & Development Centers in Lodz and Krakow will become a major world centers responsible for the company's products development. Polish R&D departments are working on development of the software which is a heart of market-leading Ericsson Radio System that supports up to 40% of mobile connections every day.

 

In order to maintain a leader in the ICT market, Ericsson has decided that centers located in Lodz and Krakow will be the part of the company's R&D structures. In April 2016 Ericsson took over Ericpol and the merging was finalized in the February 1st 2017.

 

Ericsson in Poland is a leader in the field of 5G and IoT technology. R&D Centers in Krakow and Lodz  play an important role in the process of cooperation with universities, start-ups and institutions, which will allows Ericsson to strengthen relationships with customers and partners.
