SPCC Photo Competition 2014 - winners


 
Another edition of SPCC Photo Competition has ended. We would like to thank everyone, who took part in our competition and send their images presenting Scandinavian cuisine! We received around 60 pictures from 15 companies representing great variety of Scandinavian dishes and culinary traditions.

The jury of our photo competition consisted of 4 Members:

  • Marcin Jakubowski, editor in chief of the Scandinavian magazine “Zew Północy”
  • Agnieszka Kowalcze, SPCC Director
  • Dariusz Zahorański, Chef at the Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel
  • Jan Presjnar, SPCC Board Member,  ARPI Director

The jury has awarded 12 pictures and among them there are 3 winning pictures:

1. MARIA ONIKKI-GÓRSKI, OpusCapita  –   Loimulohi, Finland. The Finnish name of the meal means "flamed salmon" and the cooking method originates form Lapland.
Prize: Return flight ticket to Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo (to choose) funded by SAS SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES

2. JANUSZ ŻEBROWSKI, Premium Events – Sognefjord, Norge - Hummer med ramslok.
Prize: Weekend stay for 2 people including dinner at Mera Spa Hotel in Sopot

3. MARIA ONIKKI-GÓRSKI, OpusCapita - Klippfisk, dried and salted cod: picture was taken in Nordkapp, Norway.
Prize: Weekend stay  for 2 people in PURO HOTEL KRAKÓW

  • KATARZYNA WOJDYŁA, OpusCapita. Norwegian delicious sweetness, kanelsnurrer – cinnamon rolls.
    PRIZE: Weekend stay for 2 people at Rymań Palace
  • JANUSZ ŻEBROWSKI, Premium Events - Stalheim, Norge - Smalahove. Western Norwegian traditional dish made from a smoked sheeps's head.
    PRIZE: voucher worth 300 PLN from Torty Online / Pastry Polska
  • IZABELA STANISZEWSKI, NORDRE - REKER  - we all love reker. Taste the passion. Seagulls know what taste great! They always are close fishermen where they sell fish and seafood staright from the boats.
    PRIZE: voucher worth 300 PLN from Torty Online / Pastry Polska
     
  • KATARZYNA SZYMAŃSKA, KPMG, Home – made rød grød med fløde, a summer dish made of cooked red berries served with ice-cold whipped cream.
    PRIZE: Culinary workshop with Mr Dariusz Zahorański in Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel
  • KATARZYNA SZOTA, Swedish Embassy - March 25, Waffles Day in Sweden. The day marks the beginning of spring and is celebrated by eating of many waffles. The most loved toppings are jam, whipped cream and fresh fruits plus a glass of milk.
    PRIZE: FunctionalForm SET by FISKARS
  • KATARZYNA SZOTA, Swedish EmbassyCrayfish parties mark the end of summer in Sweden and Finland. Paper hats and decorations, some beer and schnapps and a selection of silly drinking songs are important elements of these typically Swedish and Finnish celebrations. Crayfish are cooked in brine, with plenty of crown dill.
