The Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce together with KPMG in Poland are conducting a new project dedicated to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and good practices of Scandinavian companies focused on developing human and social capital. This project is a continuation of the SPCC initiatives aiming at promoting CSR activities of the SPCC Members, which resulted in publishing two CSR publications presenting best practices in the supply chain and business partnerships (2012) and energy and environment (2013) with 30 examples of initiatives developed by Scandinavian companies in the field of CSR.

This time we would like to focus on one of the most important aspects of CSR - human and social capital. Our aim is to enhance the knowledge and experience exchange between Polish and Scandinavian companies and serve as a source of inspiration for companies, who are planning to develop their CSR activities.

Together with KPMG we are preparing a comprehensive analysis of CSR activities in Polish and Scandinavian companies. Therefore, we would like to invite  you to take part in our survey dedicated to CSR activities in your company, with the emphasis on the development of social and human capital initiatives.

The survey is available HERE. Please submit one survey per company no later than 10th of August 2015.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and valuable contribution!

Additionally, we would like to invite Scandinavian companies to share their good practices connected with human rights, labour issues and community involvement and development. We want to present cases which have a positive impact on the company, its employees and communities such as: human developement at workplace, corporate volunteering, social dialogue, diversity/women in business, health and safety, supporting local communities, supporting culture, social campaigns and developing partnerships.

Collected case studies will be presented in a publication which will be issued and presented during an event in October 2015.

In order to take part in the project and present your best practices, please fill in the attached form. Please send the form no later than 31th of August to swojtaszczyk@spcc.pl.

If you are interested in further promotion possibilities or have any questions regarding the project, please contact Sylwia Wojtaszczyk-Ciąćka, swojtaszczyk@spcc.pl, tel. 697 905 950.
