DNB Bank Polska SA - SPCC’s Patron

1.    Scandinavian values in your company – how they are perceived and implemented?
Our key values when servicing both our external and internal customers are:
1.    Professional – we assume responsibility and aim at quality of rendered services;
2.    Helpful – we share knowledge and experience and try to understand and solve problems;
3.    Show initiative – we are open towards change and look for new and non-standard solutions.
These values have been communicated throughout our organization. A manual for employees how to live these values has been prepared.

2.    How do you see the future of your business/industry in Poland?

We are present in Poland since 2002 and corporate banking has always been the core of our activity.
Our owner, the largest Norwegian banking group DNB approved a mid-term strategy for our Polish operations last year. Our equity was raised and we fulfil capital adequacy regulatory requirements. This is a strong proof of our owner’s commitment and positive assessment of the potential Poland offers in the medium and long term.
Nordic companies have always had central position among our clients. Today we are banking partners to largest Nordic corporates active in Poland. Going forward, Nordic clients will remain main pillar of our successful presence on the Polish market. We are convinced our strategy provides the right answer to the challenges ahead and we are best-equipped to face them.

3.    What your organization gains from being the SPCC member?

DNB Poland has always been an active member of SPCC – since 2004, the year the Chamber was created. The advantage of membership is most of all business networking. SPCC events offer unique opportunity to meet in an informal atmosphere. SPCC is the best place to be for the Scandinavian community in Poland.
