Salling Group, the parent company of Netto Polska, has agreed with Tesco Polska to take over the entire business of the company - including its stores and warehouses.
The Netto retail chain was named the Market of the Year 2019 in the Most Innovative Retail Concept category. The brand was recognised in particular for the execution of its 3.0 concept underlying the retailer’s innovative retail stores.
Experienced retailer Janusz Stroka is appointed as the new Country CEO in Netto Poland. Netto Poland is aiming at opening 40 new stores a year from 2020.
Kent Fogh Petersen has been awarded with a prestigious Hermes award by “Poradnik Handlowca” magazine. The Managing Director of Netto store chain was honoured with a title “Prominent Personality of Trade” (“Osobowość Handlu”).
2014 Netto ended with the number of 334 shops in Poland. Newest shops were opened in December in Michałowice, Łódź, Zduńska Wola and Łaziska Górne.
