30-08-2010

The Antimonopoly Office constantly supervises financial services market by inspecting i.a. whether banks’ agreements and by-laws do not contain provisions contrary to the law or whether their advertisements are not misleading for customers. The Office’s actions in the recent months resulted in eight decisions regarding seven banks and one lawsuit filed with court. Among others, the Office found the advertisement of deposits at Getin Noble Bank misleading and further recognised that BPH, Bank Gospodarki Ĺ»ywnoĹ›ciowej, BOĹš and Alior Bank benefited from provisions which were contrary to law.
