Single Market Forum - SIMFO

European Parliament, European Commission and Ministry of Economy (Presidency of the EU Council) have a pleasure to invite you to participate in the Single Market Forum (Forum Rynku Wewnętrznego), which will take place on October 2-4, 2011 in Krakow.

The Single Market Forum (SIMFO) aims at bringing together citizens, businesses and public authorities from all over Europe to take stock of the Single European Market as well as to discuss on new ideas for forthcoming initiatives and on how to improve the functioning of the Single Market.
The two-day Forum will give the participants an opportunity to share their experiences during several discussions, meetings and workshops on the functioning of the Single Market (detailed information can be found on the following SIMFO web page: http://ec.europa.eu/internal_market/top_layer/smf_workshops_en.htm).
Opening of the Forum will be preceded by the information and promotional event – Single Market Fair, which will start on 2 October 2011 in the Main Market Square in Krakow (Rynek GĹ‚ówny).

During the plenary session on Tuesday morning, participants will discuss the conclusions from the workshops and will agree on a "Krakow’s Declaration" that will highlight areas for improving the functioning of the Single Market.
