SPCC CONFERENCE & REPORT – OCTOBER 2017

Scandinavian countries are the leaders in many social-economic world rankings, including those related to education, work-life balance or happiness at work. Scandinavian solutions and approach to sustainability, diversity, gender quality and empowering women inspire many.

The labour market, working culture and management style are different in Scandinavia than in Poland.
Investors from Scandinavia, represented by more than 2000 companies operating in our country, play an important role on the Polish labour market, being highly appreciated employers.

Having this in mind, SPCC has decided to look closer at good practices of Scandinavian companies operating in Poland from the HR perspective and explore the topic of Scandinavian workplaces in Poland.

What distinguishes Scandinavian workplace?
Polish labour market vs Scandinavian markets – what are the differences?
Can we successfully combine Polish and Scandinavian working culture?
Women on the labour market – what are the factors of the Scandinavian women empowerment success?
How important are Scandinavian values in building employer branding of the Nordic investors in Poland?
How does the Scandinavian place to work look like?
And finally - what can we learn from each other and make our workplaces better?

We will address these and many other questions in a report presenting Scandinavian workplace on the Polish market and during a conference which will take place on the 26th of October 2017.

Therefore we kindly invite SPCC Members to co-create this project with us and share good practices from the HR area in the report.
