The increase in the number of employees in Sweden. The unemployment rate is the lowest since November 2015

In Sweden in July 2016, 5 059 000 persons aged 15-74 were employed, not seasonally adjusted. This is an increase of 56 000 compared to July 2015.
The number of unemployed persons amounted to 341 000 and the unemployment rate amounted to 6.3 percent. The latest unemployment rate was the weakest since November last year, when it marked 6.2 percent.

The number of hours worked averaged 95.3 million per week. Smoothed and seasonally adjusted data shows an increase in the number of employed persons and a continued decrease in the unemployment rate, which amounted to 6.9 percent.
