CSR practices in the supply chain

Corporate sustainability and responsibility in business partnerships and within the supply chain has become an extremely relevant topic during recent years, especially for companies which cooperate with foreign business partners.

We are in the opinion that Nordic companies operating in Poland have implemented many good practices/solutions in this area of their activities and it would be great value if they could share their experiences with Polish companies, as for many Polish firms this is still a new and innovative approach.

SPCC would like to promote this topic and collect examples of our members’ CSR practices and case studies and showcased them in a publication, which will be presented during  SPCC Economic conference in November.

Therefore, we kindly invite you to cooperate with SPCC and share your good practices and CSR case studies concerning the supply chain.

Supply chain encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing and procurement. It is the way in which companies secure products and services from their suppliers.

The good practices that we are looking for can concern the following issues:

  • Introduction of criteria related to sustainability in procurement policies
  • Implementation of codes of conducts for suppliers
  • Purchase of certified products such as FSC certified paper or Fair Trade certified goods.

We are looking for cases of implementing sustainability within your relationship with your suppliers.

We have put together the questions in order to help you identify good CSR practices within your supply chain.
