On July 8, 2010, the act of May 6, 2010 came into force which amends the Act on Shaping Agricultural System. The changed provisions concern possibilities of exercising the pre-emption right of agricultural real properties by the Agricultural Property Agency. The pre-emption right which had been vested in the Agency was limited and now it only applies to real properties of at least 5 ha. Thus, trade in agricultural real properties of the are of less than 5 ha will be unrestricted.
