"On the green way - Polish-Scandinavian cooperation on the way to green transformation"

We have the pleasure to present the latest SPCC Report dedicated to the Polish-Scandinavian cooperation in the field of green transformation.

The report presents the approach of Nordic companies to the implementation of the sustainable development strategy, indicates drivers and barriers standing in the way of green transformation from the point of view of Scandinavian business and defines the most prospective areas of cooperation between Poland and Scandinavia. It also includes 20 case studies presenting the activities of companies in the area of specific SDGs and cooperation within joint projects.

"Scandinavian business in Poland - past, present & the future"

The brochure published on the occassion of SPCC 15th Anniversary presents crucial data regarding the scope of investment, scale of economic cooperation between Poland and Scandinavia and to sum up the presence of Scandinavian companies in Poland. We also decided to ask the managers of the most sucessful Nordic brands present in Poland about their future plans and challenges. "Nordic Insights - trends shaping the future of business"

Together with infuture hatalska foresight institute we identified 14 trends related to the most popular innovations currently being developed on the Scandinavian market. Each identified trend has been enriched with case studies. Additionally, we carried out a survey among SPCC Member companies to asses their attitudes towards identified trends.

The latest SPCC report is dedicated to "Scandinavian workplace". Innovative Scandinavian solutions - manufacturing & cleantech

The report is a continuation of a project that was launched last year and is focused on presenting the Scandinavian approach to innovation and possibilities for Scandinavian-Polish cooperation. Monitor ERP, a Swedish IT company is a partner of the project, inside you will also find articles from Scandinavian Ambassadors in Poland, Industrial Development Agency as well as examples of innovative solutions introduced by Scandinavian companies operating in Poland in production and clean technologies.

"The impact of Foreign Direct Investment - contribution to the Polish economy in the past quarter century"

The report was prepared by Polityka Insight in cooperation with 14 bilateral chambers of commerce operating in Poland, including SPCC. It summarizes the most important information on foreign direct investment in Poland by sector, direction and scale. The report also discusses the benefits of FDI for Polish companies and society as a whole - increased employment, wages, investments in human capital or additional state revenue.

The report "Innovative solutions of the Scandinavian companies in Poland" presents the innovative potential of the Scandinavian business in Poland and the possibilities for cooperation between Poland and Scandinavia in developing innovation. The report was created in cooperation with companies: IKEA, VELUX, Atlas Copco, Cybercom, Electrolux, NEFCO, SEB, Skanska and under Honorary Patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Nordic Embassies in Poland.

The publication is dedicated to the Scandinavian companies from the Business Services Sector in Poland and it was prepared in cooperation with Pro Progressio Foundation, companies: Kinnarps and Vastint and under honorary patronage of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. Inside the report you will find unique data about Scandinavian companies from the BSS sector in Poland - the scope of investment, location, served processes and languages as well as 10 case studies of Scandinavian Business Service Centers that successfully operate on the Polish market.

"Developing human and social capital - good practices of Nordic companies in the field of social responsibility"

The publication includes results of a CSR survey conducted by SPCC and KPMG regarding social responsibility policy, developing human and social capital in particular. We also present 20 examples of good practices conducted by Nordic companies in Poland representing different branches: Fortum, DNB, IKEA, Jotun, Atlas Copco, Autoliv, Ericsson, H&M, Jula Poland, Kemira, Oriflame, Poldanor, Ruukki, Stora Enso oraz Volvo Polska. The published examples represent three areas of CSR: human rights, labour practices and actions aimed at developing the local communities within which companies operate.

2014

„SPCC 10th Anniversary Publication - Scandinavian companies in the Polish landscape”

Publication prepared on the occasion of SPCC 10th Anniversary presents the results of the latest survey conducted by the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with PwC, which aim was to collect opinions and experiences of the companies from the North operating on the Polish market.  Additionally we also added examples of Scandinavian investment in Poland as well as examples of companies which products and services has  influenced the Polish landscape. Publication was prepared under honorary patronage of the Minister of Economy, the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and the Embassies of the Nordic countries in Poland.

The publication was prepared with companies which were cooperating with SPCC on the 1st edition of "Scandinavian SWOT" conference held in November 2013.
