Vastint Poland has signed a lease agreement for 11,500 m2 of office space with Bank Zachodni WBK. The new tenant of the complex Business Garden Poznań will be deployed in two of the four buildings which constitute the first stage of the project. Colliers International was involved in the transaction. The current level of commercialisation of the project has reached 40%.

“We are pleased that one of the largest and most innovative financial institutions in Poland has joined the group of tenants in our latest investment. BZ WBK is the largest of our existing tenants in Business Garden PoznaĹ„. I am convinced that the complex will provide comfortable conditions for developing its business,” - said Roger Andersson, Managing Director Vastint Poland.

“Business Garden PoznaĹ„ combines modern office functions with access to associated services, recreation and relaxation. This property is friendly for the environment and employees, which was the prevailing argument for us when choosing this location,” said Paul Field, Director of the Department of Working Environmental Management of Bank Zachodni WBK. “Business Garden PoznaĹ„ will enable us to centralise back office units, previously active in several locations in PoznaĹ„. To support the direction of our development strategy, we want to create engaging place to work, where the implementation of our tasks will be carried out in an environment friendly to nature and people.”

Business Garden is located in the Marcelin District of Poznan, at the intersection of Marcelińska and Bułgarska Streets. Ultimately, it will comprise nine modern office buildings with a total planned area of 80,000 m2. Upon completion of the first phase at the beginning of this year, the real estate market in Poznań gained 42,000 m2 of office and retail space with excellent access to town infrastructure. In addition to office space, the complex offers a number of services and amenities that support businesses and office workers. Furthermore, the buildings were designed and constructed using technologies intended to achieve increased electricity and water savings, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, and air quality control inside the buildings. All four of them have been certified as LEED Platinum.

Business Garden offers ideal conditions for business process outsourcing (BPO) and shared service solution (SSC) and IT companies. Until now 40% of leasable space was commercialised. Among the tenants of the complex are companies such as ADM, intelligence, Medi Partner (Medicover) and the future operator of the canteen Carrot Field.

Business Garden Poznań is one of three business parks executed under the brand Business Garden by Vastint in Poland. The other complexes are developed in Warsaw and Wrocław.
