Vastint Poland signed an agreement extending the lease term and expanding the office space leased by Ricoh Polska in Business Garden at Żwirki i Wigury in Warsaw by additional 800 m2. The tenant was represented in the transaction by Knight Frank.

“When we created the Business Garden concept we wished to achieve two main goals. We wanted to ensure most comfortable conditions for future tenants’ business development and we tried to achieve a balanced combination of business uses with hospitality at the workplace. The fact that the lease was extended by one of our first tenants is the best evidence that we were successful in achieving these ambitions,” says Peter Chatfield, Commercial Manager, Vastint Poland.

The Business Garden complex is located at Żwirki i Wigury, one of the key traffic arteries of Warsaw, near the NS expressway and a station of the urban railway line linking the airport with the Central Railway Station and Praga district.

The complex will consist of seven buildings with a total area exceeding 90,000 m2. The Business Garden comprises a hotel with more than 200 rooms, a conference centre with 8 conference rooms, a restaurant and numerous retail outlets, which will be soon joined by another canteen, fitness club and a kindergarten. The area between the buildings is occupied by a garden open onto the surrounding urban areas, with rest and work zones surrounded by plants, and with access to Wi-Fi. During the construction of the project  a number of environmentally friendly building solutions, e.g. water and energy saving and internal environment control solutions were implemented, and the buildings were awarded the top LEED certificates.

The investor of Business Garden is Vastint Poland, which is also the developer of Business Gardens in Poznań and Wrocław. The second phase of the Warsaw project being constructed by Hochtief Polska will be commissioned in the first quarter of the next year.
