The Westin Hotel in Warsaw has been awarded an LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance certificate. It is the first hotel in Poland to comply with the high requirements for environmental certification for existing buildings. The Westin Hotel received a 'Silver' grade.
Skanska commenced the construction works on the first phase of Spark office project. Spark will be developed on the so-called Serek Wolski area at the cross section of Okopowa and Towarowa Streets and will comprise office space distinguished by a publicly available square, open fresh-air working areas and an amphitheater. It will be the first office complex developed by Skanska in Poland to have beehives located on the roof of its first building. Furthermore, Spark will be the first office project to be recognized with “Object with no boundaries” certificate approved for buildings adjusted to the needs of disabled people.
Entering the Tri-City market and further development in Warsaw in locations outside the city center – these are the two directions for Skanska Property Poland in the upcoming years.

On 29 October 2013, the cornerstone ceremony was held for the Kapelanka 42 office complex, currently under construction at the intersection of Kapelanka and KobierzyĹ„ska streets in Kraków. This is the first office project by Skanska Property Poland in the capital of MaĹ‚opolska region.
