Finnish SAVOPAK enters the Polish market

The Finnish manufacturer of packaging SAVOPAK is now entering the Polish market. Its offer includes disposable packaging, boxes of fixed construction for transportation and storage and a range of special packaging.

The S-range of boxes for transportation and storage is made of weatherproof plywood reinforced with galvanised steel strips on corners.

The S-Box Special range of boxes is intended for transportation and storage of different products and made to order according to the customer’s wishes and requirements. Boxes can be divided internally into compartments or padded.

Savopak’s range of special products contains cut rag filler boxes for the tobacco industry and cheese ripening containers for the dairy industry.

All Savopak’s products can be adjusted to individual requirements.

Savopak Oy was founded at Varkaus in 1969. The company manufactures transportation and storage packages from plywood and solid wood. It has formed part of The OR Group since 1984, when Olavi Räsänen Oy acquired the company’s entire shareholding.

In 1995, Olavi Räsänen Oy relocated the manufacturing of wooden packages and cheese maturing containers for dairies to Varkaus. Since then Savopak Oy has been responsible for The OR Group’s entire packaging production.
