The Warsaw office of the Baker & McKenzie law firm was awarded in 14 out of 15 practices included in the “Practical Law Company - PLC Which lawyer?” ranking in 2007. Three practices gained the highest recommendation in the ranking.  The ranking distinguished 9 lawyers from the Baker & McKenzie Law Office in the individual category. SÅ‚awomir Boruc (tax law), Paulina Kieszkowska-Knapik (pharmaceutical law) and Dr. Andrzej Tynel (dispute settlement) were recognised as the best specialists in their areas in Poland.  

In this year’s “PLC Which Lawyer?” ranking, the Baker & McKenzie law office received the largest number of awards of all the law offices in Poland.  Three of the Warsaw office’s practices were acknowledged by the ranking as being the best in Poland - dispute settlement, pharmaceutical law and tax law. Further practices were assessed as highly recommended. The practices awarded in this way included banking and finance, capital markets, competition law, real estate law and company law / mergers and acquisitions. Baker & McKenzie’s recommended group also included: energy law, intellectual property, labour law, private equity and restructuring.
