Danfoss is in 12th place among companies from around the world when it comes to reputation, according to a survey conducted by the Reputation Institute which will be published in the next issue of Forbes Magazine. Last year, Danfoss was 11th.
The survey is based on the responses of more than 60,000 consumers in 29 countries – distributed in six continents. They evaluated the companies according to their products, performances, innovation, leadership and responsibility. Danfoss is evaluated to be the fourth best place to work and is second in terms of social and environmental responsibility.
Only consumers in the companies’ home countries were questioned and the responses were subsequently gathered to form an overall picture. The toy manufacturer, LEGO, tops the list with a total score of 85.01 points, Danfoss’ score is 81.45 which is slightly below last year’s score. A score over 80 is described as being “excellent”.
It is the second time that the Reputation Institute has conducted this kind of survey. It was an online survey but consumers in South Africa responded via personal interviews. A total of more than 1,000 companies were evaluated.
