Once again Warsaw Baker & McKenzie Tax Advisors has come FIRST PLACE among law offices in Polish and global rankings.

Baker & McKenzie Tax Advisors Warsaw Group has come first place in Chambers Global 2007 ranking in Poland for the third time in a row. This rating was based on clients' and competitiors' opinions.
Clients and competitors taking part in the poll recommended SÅ‚awomir Boruc - the head of the Tax Practice Group - saying „competitors are full of praise for his excellence in M&A related tax and cross-border tax structuring”.
In January 2007 Baker & McKenzie Tax Advisors achieved another vital success - Jerzy Martini, a tax advisor representing a client before the European Court of Justice, won a precedential case connected with a discrepancy between Polish excise law and EU law. It was the first Polish case before the European Court of Justice.
