Draft of change regarding Polish Agency for Enterprise Development

17-05-2010

On May 11, the government accepted the draft of changes to the Act on Creating Polish Agency for Enterprise and Development (PARP), which will be directed to the Parliament.
The draft stipulated a wider scope of activities which can be financed with the financial aid granted to entrepreneurs by the Agency. It was specified that such aid – except for supporting investments – may also be granted for trainings and advisory services. The change also introduced the possibility to use the financial aid for preparation of motions by small and medium entrepreneurs for additional financing of projects realized within the framework of international innovation programs and for adjusting of entrepreneurs to the changing market conditions. The Agency will be able also to support the entrepreneurs who are affected with the results of extreme natural disasters, such as floods or hurricanes.
