Meeting of the trio Poland-Denmark-Cyprus

On Monday, 9th of May, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has met with the president of Cyprus Dimitris Christiofas and Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen. Politicians discussed the upcoming Polish presidency in the EU and possibilities of cooperation within the trio Poland-Denmark-Cyprus.

According to the Treaty of Lisbon the trio plays an important role in ensuring the coherence of EU activities during the presidency. Poland, which will begin the presidency in July this year, is the biggest country within the trio.
