The government prepared a universal scheme for fighting mobbing

13-06-2011

The Government Representative for equal treatment prepared a draft of the scheme of internal anti-mobbing policy to be used by employers.

The scheme defines the rules of submitting a complaint by an employee with regard to occurrence of mobbing. It provides more details with regard to the methods of work of the commission assessing illegal and it introduces the rule of confidentiality as well as legal ways of personal data protection of employees’ data.

The scheme is to be voluntary and it will not constitute an enclosure to the labour code nor any other legal act. However it is worth remembering that pursuant to the provisions of the Labour Code each employer is obliged to counteract mobbing. Thus, employers should consider whether it would not be beneficial for them to use the anti-mobbing policy prepared by the government.
