From 1 January 2012 overdue holiday should be used by employees until 30 September of the subsequent year (so far, overdue holiday should have been taken until 31 March).

Longer so-called additional maternity leave and additional leave on terms of maternity leave
From 1 January 2012 the so-called additional maternity leave will amount to four weeks in case of giving birth to one child (or in case of accepting a foster placement of one child). In case of giving birth to more than one child in a single pregnancy (or in case of accepting a foster placement of more than one child), the additional maternity leave will amount to six weeks.

Longer so-called paternity leaves
From 1 January 2012 the so-called paternity leave will be extended to two weeks.
