Kinnarps Polska: is opening a new showroom at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre

23-01-2017

Kinnarps is opening a new showroom at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. The space has been divided into three zones: Lab, NextOffice and Coworking Garden. The choice of location of the new showroom was dictated by the convenient locality within the city, attractive architecture, and the nature and purpose of the building, which hosts a number of cultural and business events. The official opening took place on 18 January 2017, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ms. Inga Eriksson Fogh, city officials and numerous clients, colleagues and friends of the company.

Kinnarps is a respected brand with an established position, present in Krakow for 20 years, where it occupies an important place in the market. We support many local and international companies, not just from the business service sector. In order to present our customers with the most current trends in the office space, as well as new concepts for developing the working environment, and to inspire change, we had to think about positioning our showroom closer to business events. The ICE Kraków Congress Centre is an ideal place to realize this idea, says Beata Osiecka, CEO of Kinnarps Poland, explaining the reasons for the change of address.

We are counting on a favourable reception by the Kraków community in this new location. We expect to generate great interest from both clients and architects in our NextOffice concept and the coworking idea, of which there are still few examples on the local market. We hope that in the modern, spacious interior of ICE, our products, with their excellent Scandinavian design, will present themselves very well, which will contribute to further growth in sales, says Marek Gorczyca, Southern Regional Sales Director.

The unique location of the new showroom highlights Kinnarps’ innovative approach to promoting the idea of a modern and friendly working space, and the company’s position as a leader, setting trends in the industry. Instead of having just one typical office and exhibition space, Kinnarps is present in the ICE Kraków building in three locations with a total area of 243 sqm, each location having a different function and presenting a clear design concept:

1. Coworking Garden – space available for use by visitors to ICE Kraków. The friendly atmosphere of the Coworking Garden will be a welcome respite for congress centre visitors during breaks in conferences, and will improve the functionality and attractiveness of the entire facility.

2. Lab – back-office space, a classic open space.

3. NextOffice – the actual office of the Kinnarps team – an inspiring example of office design in the concept of activity-based working for dynamic companies.

The ICE building is one of the most prestigious and distinctive properties in Kraków, where conferences of various industries are frequently held, which will allow Kinnarps to reach new customers.

Communication in specific areas and between them is unlimited and provides opportunities for various configurations, says Grzegorz Szymanski, Kinnarps architect, co-creator of the concept behind the Kraków showroom.

The main purpose of the showroom is to present to customers and architects new office concepts and trends, and not ready-made solutions. This will be the place showcasing both new developments in work methods, as well as technological innovations pertaining to space management.

We want to get our customers’ attention and inspire them to change, as well as give them a deeper insight into current trends. We hope that this innovative idea receives a positive response from our customers, stresses Beata Rejkowska, Sales Operation Director.

We are looking forward to your visiting the new Kinnarps showroom in Kraków.
