Kinnarps Polska: #KinnarpsOnTour in Poland from 9th May until 19th May

10-05-2017

The Polish part of “Kinnarps on Tour” begins on 9th May in Cracow. The latest products offered by Kinnarps, both in real and virtual versions, will be showcased in a mobile showroom, arranged inside a special truck! The event will conclude on 19th May in Szczecin.

The visitors will be able to see the latest furniture that perfectly illustrates the leading trends in office furnishings, both live and in the virtual showroom, as part of the pan-European #KinnarpsOnTour, which will be visiting Poland from 9th May to 19th May. The mobile exhibition will make 8 stops in the following cities: Cracow, Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań, Łódź, Warsaw, Gdańsk and Szczecin.

“We believe that the tour of our mobile showroom ‘Kinnarps On Tour’ is a very interesting way to present what Kinnarps has to offer, including the functionalities brought by our design solutions. In the mobile exhibition, we will showcase our latest products, which inspire the creation of modern, functional, and ergonomic workspaces,” says Beata Rejkowska, the Sales Operation Director of Kinnarps in Poland.

What will you be able to see in the easily recognisable blue truck? Exciting new products will be the highlight of the event, with the real treat for design enthusiasts being Phaze and Kaloo seatings, designed by Karim Rashid for Skandiform and Materia brands, members of the Kinnarps Group. In the showroom on wheels, visitors will also have the opportunity to see other products that made their debut at this year’s Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, such as Space series, intriguing Mr. T and Patch seatings, as well as Deep Forest acoustic panels. The visitors will not only be able to try out interesting and innovative furniture, but also to learn more about trends in designing modern offices from Kinnarps specialists, who will be presenting the possibilities of the exhibited systems.

Additionally, the use of VR goggles will increase the 70 square metres of the exhibition in the blue truck up to 2.5 thousand square metres, allowing the visitors to stroll around the virtual showroom.

”In 2017, Kinnarps is celebrating 75th anniversary and for that reason we wanted to showcase our new products in a modern, invigorating atmosphere, while taking some inspiration from the past,” says Anna-Karin Halvardsson from Kinnarps’ headquarters in Sweden, the author of the concept of the exhibition truck’s interior.

Since opening for business, Kinnarps, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, has been creating furniture designed to meet customers’ needs. Kinnarps focuses on the workspace of the future, in which work is perceived as a set of actions to be done, not just a place to come to, resulting in a change of the current approach to the way office workspaces are equipped. The company represents a comprehensive approach to workspace, encompassing not only furniture design, but also the Next Office™ tool set, designed for analysis of office environment requirements, as well as the technology supporting the modern workspace.
