BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland Sp. z o.o.: BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland with a first aid kit including a protective coating for commercial properties

30-04-2020

BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland promotes innovative real estate solutions for its clients. In response to the current needs of the real estate sector, the company, in cooperation with its partner, has prepared a special offer aimed at protecting buildings and their usable areas.

For several weeks now the most important topic in public space has been the coronavirus pandemic. Its effects include not only anxiety about the future, but also changes in behaviour. The government is introducing further regulations aimed at reducing the dynamics of the spread of the virus in the population. The restrictions entail changes in the way citizens as well as companies function. Their needs are addressed by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, which has prepared comprehensive solutions for commercial properties, named the first-aid kit for real estate.

BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland’s first aid kit includes, among others, titanium protective coatings, which are a modern method of disintegrating pathogenic microbiological organisms, previously used almost exclusively in hospitals and food production plants.

“The above solution, which we offer in the form of Lumichem's TitanSolid coating, eliminates viruses, bacteria and their spores, and, what is extremely important, creates a shield that remains active for at least one year. It is worth noting that the coating not only stops the multiplication of microorganisms on the surfaces, but also eliminates volatile organic compounds, mould or fungi," explains MikoĹ‚aj Laskowski, Head of Office Agency at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.

TITANsolid is a versatile product based on titanium dioxide (a naturally occurring raw material used and registered as a food additive in the EU under the symbol E171). The coating can be applied to many surfaces, ranging from specific areas to be covered for permanent protection such as desks, furniture, grips, to office spaces such as walls, ceilings or glazing. Thanks to this solution we obtain a permanent, long-lasting possibility to eliminate pathogenic microorganisms from the air in the entire office space. “Our findings are based on accredited tests of microbiological purity of air in three independent office and retail premises, which took place in companies belonging to the BNP Paribas Group,” adds MikoĹ‚aj Laskowski.

Thanks to the cooperation with Lumichem, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland has become an exclusive partner of this solution, promoting it in the commercial office property markets in Warsaw, Kraków, Katowice and Tri-City. Furthermore, under the agreement, the company gained priority in providing its clients with the described solution in the buildings it manages or rents.

"We have prepared a package of services and products (with the titanium coating on top of the list), which is an innovative approach to property management during the coronavirus pandemic crisis. It is a catalogue of solutions designed to increase, in the first place, the safety and comfort of employees. According to the assurances of our partners, the offered solutions guarantee maximum microbiological safety and will also improve the comfort of people with reduced immunity in the future,” said MaĹ‚gorzata Fibakiewicz, Managing Director for the office class sector and strategic projects at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.

“We started cooperation with BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland as the partner of our unique product TITANsolid. The company's well-established position in the real estate market opens up many opportunities to reach out to potential clients. We are glad that our technology will find its application in a much wider range than before. At the same time, we are proud to help employees and employers to make office space safe before they return to working full time,” concludes Jacek ZoĹ‚ociĹ„ski, CEO of Lumichem.
