20 years ago, in 2000, in Gdańsk, the Danish company JYSK opened its first retail outlet in Poland. It was one of the best openings, and now we have already over 236 of them behind us - recalls Piotr Padalak, CEO of JYSK Polska.

Each year, the company opens 10 to 15 stores and currently employs over 2,250 people. Some of the employees opening the first store with a white goose logo on a blue background work in the Danish chain of stores until now.

- We were in the store very early that day. I remember well the line of customers, which never ended.. It started at the entrance and ran through the entire store. My job was the cash register, and experienced Danish people who came to the opening on purpose and helped us with the packing of purchases throughout the day. The home quilt turned out to be a sales hit. - recalls Anna Borowa, specialist for store applications.

Over the years, the type of products offered by the Danish version of the software with interior furnishings has not changed (invariably the offer of comprehensive solutions for bedrooms, furniture, garden products, design articles). In turn, the design of the products and the selling price of new products to the assortment underwent a major metamorphosis. Brand brand them in words times a year, the whole assortment two refers to the Scandinavian brand.

- We assume that ultimately there will be about 500 stores in Poland with our company's logo. We are celebrating our twentieth birthday and we are not slowing down the pace of expansion. adds - Piotr Padalak.
