Scandinavian Express coordinates entire logistics of prebaricated building materials delivery for The New University Hospital in Odense (New OUH) – largest hospital construction site in Denmark.

The New Univeristy Hospital will cover ground area of 800.000 m2 inlcuding Somatic hospital, Child and adolescent psychiatry and Steno Diabetes Center with 849 total number of beds. The construction process of New Univeristy Hospital in Odense is proceeded with a significant participation of polish-origin companies: Pekabex – leading manufacturer of prefabricated structures and Scandinavian Express – logistics operator nominated for New OUH concrete and steel structures delivery.

Scandinavian Express has been coordinating logistics for New OUH for 6 months. Currently we carry out 50 transports of concrete structures per week with flexible adjustment to construction site schedule (last delivery peak was 44 trucks within 2 days). All deliveries are provided with just-in-time model. The project is expected to complete in 2022 and will become the largest hospital in Denmark that is built from scratch.
In addition, due to fixed contract and huge amount of trucks in Southern Denmark, we can offer to all SPCC members interested in cargo transportation a special promotion rate for shipments from Denmark-to-Poland.
