Cresa advised Kellogg’s on lease renegotiation and expansion in Poland

Warsaw (29 March 2021) – The Kellogg Company, the world’s leading producer of ready-to-eat cereals and snacks, has renegotiated its existing lease agreement and expanded its warehouse footprint in Kutno to 28,000 sqm. The tenant was represented by real estate advisory firm Cresa. The developer of the facility is Panattoni, which specializes in BTS projects.

The Kellogg Company is one of the largest food companies and most valuable food brands worldwide. Founded in 1906 in Battle Creek, Michigan, it has over 31,000 employees and operates in 180 countries. The company’s principal products are snacks such as crackers, savory snacks, toaster pastries, cereal bars, granola bars and bites, and convenience foods including ready-to-eat cereals, frozen waffles, veggie foods and noodles. Kellogg’s brands include Cheez-It®, Coco Pops®, Corn Flakes®, Eggo®, Frosted Flakes®, Kellogg’s®, Mini-Wheats®, Pop-Tarts®, Pringles®, Rice Krispies®, Special K®, and many more.

The Kellogg Company is currently expanding its operations in Poland to support their Pringles business line. Its plant located in Kutno, Central Poland, in the Łódź Special Economic Zone, is being enlarged by a new Pringles production line.

“Cresa advised Kellogg’s in the negotiations and expansion of their warehouse and related office/social space footprint in Kutno totaling approximately 28,000 sqm. The building serves as a Pringles’ warehouse and distribution center and is located next to the existing factory. We are extremely pleased to have had the opportunity to again work alongside Kellogg in the negotiations process to be able to support their expansion plans in Poland,” says Tom Listowski, Partner, Head of Industrial and Warehouse, Central and Eastern Europe, Cresa.

Kutno, where Kellogg’s plant is located, is situated in Central Poland, approx. 130 km from Warsaw and 50 km from an interchange of the A1 and A2 motorways in Stryków. Kutno is an important railroad junction in Poland. The location provides convenient access from the A2 motorway (Berlin–Poznan–Warsaw) and from the DK92 national road to the A1 motorway (Tricity–Lodz–Gliwice). Central Poland is a dynamically developing region thanks to its advanced road network and availability of skilled labor.
