Domański Zakrzewski Palinka Sp. K.: The appointment of seven new partners

Domański Zakrzewski Palinka (DZP) is pleased to announce the appointment of seven new partners. The new partners have all worked at DZP for some time and form a team of 140 lawyers including 19 partners at Poland’s largest law firm. The firm offers full service legal advice to international and domestic clients from its head office in Warsaw and offices in Poznań, Wrocław, Toruń and Łódź.

The new partners are:

Agata Demuth. Agata is a specialist in civil law (particularly contract law and competition law), real estate law and commercial law (focusing on the restructuring of capital groups, M&A and joint ventures).

Paweł Halwa.  Paweł specialises in advising companies, particularly on M&A transactions, securities, banking and insurance law. He has a great deal of experience in running large restructuring projects embracing many fields in conjunction with external advisers and also co-ordinating international projects.

Krzysztof Kowalczyk.  Krzysztof specialises in competition and antitrust law and litigation.
Paweł Lewandowski. Pawel specialises in litigation, corporate law, and take-overs. Paweł also works with the firm’s German-speaking clients.

Bartosz Marcinkowski. Bartosz provides advice on business law. Specialising in commercial law, personal data protection law, advertising and free competition law, he has a great deal of experience in advising on investments in Poland. He also provides a full range of day-to-day services to businesses operating in Poland.

Dr Marcin Matczak. Marcin specialises in EU law, regulatory, advertising law and unfair competition issues. Marcin also heads the pharmaceutical team. In addition to providing day-to-day advisory to firms, Marcin advises business associations during draft legislation consultations, drawing up various opinions including those on whether draft laws comply with the constitution and international law.

Magdalena Skowrońska. Magdalena specialises in banking law, regulatory aspects of the functioning of finance sector institutions, capital market law, and mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the finance sector.
