Skanska Property Poland: Planning new investments

Skanska Property Poland has announced that Atrium Centrum and Atrium Plaza office buildings have been 100% leased. The buildings owned by AIB PPM, constitute a part of Atrium Business Complex developed by Skanska Property Poland along Jana Pawla II Avenue in Warsaw.

Skanska Property Poland now focuses on new projects both in Warsaw and other main Polish cities. Developer has already started construction works of Marynarska Point complex, conveniently located at Mokotów district in Warsaw. The project, comprising of two independent buildings, will offer a net rentable area of 26 000 sqm. First building is due to be ready for occupancy in the first quarter of 2008. Approx. 50% of the building – 6300 sqm, has been pre-leased to Generali, in a transaction representing one of the largest deals of 2006. Another project to be built by SPP in the city center is Atrium City – construction work is to start at Q2 2007. 

Since last year SPP has extended its portfolio by including WrocĹ‚aw and Katowice. In WrocĹ‚aw, the company develops Grunwaldzki Center, 3 – buildings office complex of 26 000 sqm, which is scheduled for completion in Q2 2008 (first phase) and Q3 2008 (second phase). Recently, SPP has bought a plot intended for an office project just outside the city center of Katowice, along Chorzowska street. The future project could be in the size of more than 30 000 sqm of leasable office area in several phases.
SPP intends to go ahead with further investments in Polish main cities.
