On Thursday, May 9th, Jula, the Swedish market chain, opened its first store in Bydgoszcz. It is the 13th shop in Poland and the 100th shop of the entire chain, which operates also in Sweden, where it comes from, and in Norway. Customers can expect a wide range of products for home & garden but also everything what a person appreciating an active lifestyle can dream of.

- The opening of the 100th store in Poland is especially pleasing. Poland is a large market with a great potential for development. The 100th opening is already the second occasion to celebrate as this year Jula celebrate its 40th anniversary of conducting business activities – says Joachim Frykberg, general director of Jula.

That event is also very special for Karl-Johan Blank, the owner of Jula: – It is a next milestone in the history of Jula, which I have been creating together with my father, Lars-Göran. 40 years ago we had a dream to build a store chain, and today the dream came true. Polish market is very promising and we will continue development of the chain here.

Jula in Bydgoszcz is located in Park Handlowy Batory at ul. Fabryczna 1B. The total area of the market is 2361,30 square meters, from which 1947,88 square meters is commercial space.

In relation to the store opening in Bydgoszcz, Jula had been involved in many local activities: i.e. sponsorship of Bydgoszcz Run and organization of restoration of chosen public spaces in cooperation with the local authorities. Such activities are being a part of CSR strategy of Jula group.
