Cushman & Wakefield Polska Sp. z o.o.: Metropolitan office gets a fresh and functional makeover

4-09-2017

Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has partnered with Luma Architekci to design a new functional and engaging workspace in its Warsaw office. After gathering and analysing the data from various studies and surveys performed to better understand the employees’ needs and requirements, the design team has developed solutions to inspire employees to connect, collaborate and innovate.

The new design aims to create healthy, energised working environment for Cushman & Wakefield’s employees in the existing space to promote communication, nurture team spirit and foster innovation. In addition to the big, multi-coloured, interactive shared workspaces, the refreshed office features several private meeting rooms to support both focused and collaborative work. Unique features of the office are its evergreen moss panels in the hub and the main office as well as introduction of light coloured soft wooden partitions decorated with climbing plants.

Before starting the project, Cushman & Wakefield’s in-house Workplace Strategy team conducted interviews with the company’s executives and managers, followed by an in-depth analysis of office space efficiency using iNotify. Professional change management process ensured that the refurbishment works in the Warsaw office were carried out smoothly without disruption to the company’s day-to-day operation.

Charles Taylor, Head of Cushman & Wakefield Poland, said: “The new design elements, layout and furniture ensures our people can easily collaborate across service lines, sharing ideas and experiences, whilst promoting flexibility in working styles and aiding a healthy work/life balance.”

Maciej Markowski, Partner, Head of Workplace Strategy CEE, Global Occupier Services of Cushman & Wakefield, was responsible for the analyses and change management. Andrew Frizell, Partner, Head of Project Management and Consultancy, Cushman & Wakefield, was responsible for the architectural design
and the refurbishment work in conjunction with Luma Architekci.
