Cushman & Wakefield Polska Sp. z o.o.: appointed project and cost manager for the delivery of KappAhl and Newbie stores at Galeria Północna

The Project & Development Services (PDS) team of Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, was responsible for full project delivery and cost control of the fit-out of new KappAhl and Newbie’s stores at Warsaw’s newly opened Galeria PóÅ‚nocna.

Cushman & Wakefield’s duties included negotiations of technical schedules to lease agreements, coordination of design work, preparation of a general contractor tender, supervision of the fit-out work and coordination of KappAhl’s suppliers, as well as acceptance of the construction work in the presence of the landlord and the tenant. Marcin Golly, Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield, was responsible for project management while Senan Corbett, Head of Cost Management, was in charge of budgeting and cost control. Earlier in the process, Cushman & Wakefield advised KappAhl on the leases of the retail space for both brands.

KappAhl is a Swedish fashion retailer offering stylish clothing for women, men and children. In addition to its standard size items, it also offers plus size women’s fashion. KappAhl also sells high-quality clothes for children and infants under the Newbie brand. Newbie’s store in Galeria PóÅ‚nocna is the brand’s first location in Poland.
