The Ministry of Economy developed a draft of an act on helping the poor, who will pay lower receipts for electricity by ca. 1/3. Ca. PLN 130 million from the national budget will be provided for this kind of support.
On May 20 the Speaker of the Sejm (performing the President’s duties) signed the act on supporting development of telecommunication services and networks, the main purpose of which is to ensure that access to telecommunication in Poland will be developed.
On May 20, 2010 the first reading of the draft act on amendment to the Civil Code took place in the Sejm.
